As a Registered Nurse, Transformational Coach, and “Soul Midwife,” Angela Ward of Guardian at the Gateway offers a unique blend of nursing care and psychedelic-assisted therapy, developed over her years at the bedside, and honed by over 300 hours providing ketamine-assisted therapy and coaching to her clients.
She recognizes the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational healing potential of psychedelic-assisted therapy. Angela believes that these therapies can awaken our inner healing intelligence and inspire us to develop resiliency and sovereignty on our healing journey. She maintains a deep belief that all people deserve the highest quality of care regardless of their means and resources and that psychedelic-assisted therapy is no exception.
With a background in birth work, Angela has a gift for being with people as they journey through transformational experiences and cultivates a safe and strong container for extraordinary states of consciousness, developing a high level of trust and support with her clients.
Originally a Labor and Delivery nurse, she has dedicated her career to bringing safe and legal psychedelic care to help people deeply heal. She has many hours logged supporting people through expanded states of consciousness, as well as extensive training with psychedelic-assisted therapy, including:
- The Synthesis Institute Psychedelic Practitioners Training (2021-present)
- The California Institute of Integral Studies Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Research (2017)
- The Ketamine Training Center (2018)
- The Orenda Institute’s Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (2018)
She is currently working with remarkable clients who are courageously awakening through transformational experiences and taking their healing into their own hands. Learn more at www.GuardingGateways.com
